Gail Mercer-MacKay
Gail is a successful entrepreneur who combined her passion for story-telling with over twenty-five years of sales & marketing experience gained at emerging technology and start-up organizations to found Mercer-MacKay. Her enthusiasm for life, learning and curiosity about how to marry the benefits of technology with the business value it is capable of creating has been at the foundation of her success. Gail serves on the International and Canadian Boards of IAMCP, is a business advisor at RIC and co-founded a therapeutic writing program for men and women struggling with addiction.
Corinne Sharp
Senior Consultant & Channel Development
Corinne Sharp has over 20 years of experience in the IT sector leading sales, marketing, and channel teams at both Fortune 100 companies and through her own company, Sharp Perspective Inc. As a senior consultant for Mercer-MacKay, Corinne works with our key clients on their digital strategies to drive revenue growth and strong execution excellence. Operating in the world of channels, alliances, and partnerships to help organizations achieve scaled growth through others is an area of expertise Corinne brings to the table. She has trained sales teams around the world and loves working as an advisor within the startup community. You can find Corinne in Burlington or on her paddle board.
Jared Foxworthy

Jared has spent the last decade refining an alternative agency model which combines strategic and technical expertise into a data-centric, bottom funnel approach to build strong digital foundations for ROI growth and optimization. Caitlin is a student at heart. With an undergraduate degree specializing in Political Science from the University of Toronto and a post-graduate certificate in Marketing Management from Humber College, she has transferred her learning experiences to content creation for technology companies. From content strategy, lead nurturing campaigns, to writing blogs, case studies, website copy, and more, she helps clients with all their content needs. Caitlin is a fashion enthusiast with a soft spot for her two orange tabby cats, Harry and Lloyd, and chocolate lab, Charlotte.
Daniel Cassell

Dan credits Gail with encouraging him to pursue an education in Information Technology. A graduate of McMaster University, Dan is fascinated by the online world of web development, search engine optimization and social media. Dan runs the Mercer-MacKay social media program including helping to plan and execute client strategies as well as how to develop a personal brand to drive social media growth. Dan is an online gamer who loves Tim Horton’s coffee and the Hamilton music scene.
Trish Bell

Trish’s passion is helping technology companies and their executives integrate social media into their marketing plans. She excels at cutting through the noise to elevate social profiles on various social channels using both organic and paid tactics. As a former Office Manager & Financial Business Admin graduate, Trish has always had a love for order and efficiency. With a leap of faith and a career change, Trish confidently combines her love for an effectively run office with her passion for social media. In her spare time, you’ll find her enjoying a great cup of coffee with family… and a Sudoku game!
Sarah Stoyanovich

Sarah is a graduate of the York University Sheridan College Joint Program in Design. With experience in marketing, graphic design, and website programming Sarah brings fresh insight into developing wholistic and thoughtful solutions. Understanding the importance of innovation, she is always on the lookout for new ways to improve upon existing systems by integrating her observations. Sarah values collaboration and thrives on organization, so being proactive and accommodating are words often used to describe working with her. In her spare time, Sarah can be found in nature, trying out a new restaurant or watching cat videos.
Lois Gordon

Lois is an award-winning fiction writer who enjoys writing client blogs, award submissions and case studies that help to de-mystify technology by focussing on client business value. Passionate about editing, Lois is a sought after freelance editor for business, fiction and non-fiction editing. Author Carla Norton says, “I never submit a book to my publisher before Lois Gordon edits it.” Lois’s blogs and award submissions have spanned energy, utilities, regulatory, healthcare and financial services industries. Lois lives on a hobby farm with her husband Leif where they do their best to keep the coyotes away from their chickens.
Nancy Watt

A graduate of the Second City comedy writing program, Nancy is skilled at writing blogs or video scripts that include a touch of humour. Her previous career as a sales executive for a large pharmaceutical firm makes her ideal to write for business entities that include a focus on healthcare, education and business process improvement. Nancy has recently wrote, directed and starred in a sold-out stand-up comedy and improv sketch show, “Mama Drama” at Hamilton’s Staircase Theatre. She lives in Dundas, Ontario with her family and will do anything to avoid folding socks.

A veteran journalist and recipient of several newspaper awards for investigative reporting, Denise has built a reputation as an expert in healthcare and patient centered advocacy. She has travelled the world to report on social issues and has been recognized for her sensitive approach and thorough reporting style. When Denise is not writing, she is training her new guide-dog puppy who has managed to take-over the Davy household.
Shann McGrail

Shann’s 20+ years (she’s not revealing exactly how many years it has been) in the technology industry have inspired her love for developing the potential of people and teams, amplifying that through the power of technology. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to use her knowledge of how technology can solve big challenges and to write those stories. Another one of Shann’s deep passions is improv. In addition to serving on its board of directors, Shann can be found performing onstage with the Oakville Improv Theatre Company. Shann is currently holding on to her hope for the Detroit Tigers to win the next World Series and the invention of calorie free chocolate.
